My RFE response was officially received by the HCMC Adoptions Unit yesterday. Yay! ::throws confetti:: We are all supposed to receive a response within 3 weeks of receipt, barring unforeseen circumstances with particular cases.
We have heard hints that it may not take 3 weeks, and CIS is going to process in order of I600 acknowledgment date. I have the 2nd oldest I600 acknowledgment date – March 27th, when I was younger and happier, lol – so hopefully I’ll hear sooner rather than later. My homestudy expires end of October so it would be great to get this all wrapped up before then…
I have received updated photos of Matthew – thanks Shannon and Mer! And he looks…annoyed, lol. I think he knows he’s been in the orphanage longer than he should’ve been and he wants to come home.
I think he was sleeping
Tim took the pics, though, he would know.
